Although we didn’t begin the design process of our home, we were fortunate enough to snatch an inventory home a few weeks before completion. I’m so glad we decided to go with Highland Homes over any other builder and I won’t hesitate to choose so again in our next home buying experience. Highland Homes delivers an excellent home at a very competitive price. Highland Homes provides many features and resulting benefits that you will not find in other production builders. The ability to customize is very helpful in designing your dream home.
Often people feel that homeownership is an unobtainable goal. The most common misconceptions we encounter with Florida homebuyers is that a large down payment is required to purchase a home, and that new construction homes are not affordable. Ten years ago, Florida was at the peak of the housing bubble with record pricing. Five years ago, that bubble had burst and the real estate market was crashing. We are in a slow, but steady recovery after the housing market bottomed out in late 2011.

It's very important to have a great relationship with all the reps involved for they truly make the buying experience world class. This is my second Highland home that I have purchased. Out of all the homes on the market at this price point,, Highland Homes definitely has the best quality of home. The service at the sales center from Glenn is A+, and also the project manager Tommy is extremely attentive to all of your needs.
Everyone in the process was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. Awesome builder, dedicated, experienced and highly rated. Prices, plans, specifications, square footage and availability subject to change without notice or prior obligation.

The entire team was super capable and flexible with our requests and able to navigating numerous supply issues throughout the build process. Our builder Corey was exceptional and we would use him again without hesitation. This was the best homebuilding experience that I have had!
We have explained all of this to the sales rep of Highland Homes in Prosper, and she has continued to refuse to return the money. And further lied to us as to why she couldn't refund the $. The contract language is ambiguous and unclear.

I fully trust Highland Homes at Santa Rita Ranch and would very likely be looking at Highland Homes if I were to do a new build again. Cason has been amazing and is really the heart of the entire process - extremely responsive and professional. Matt was also fantastic to work early on when buying the property - always helpful with all of our questions along the way.
When we did finally get a contract on our home, the Highland Home we were previously contracted for was still available for purchase. We were in discussions with the Highland Rep to sign a new contract when the sales rep contracted with another buyer instead. It has been uncovered that we have been lied to and deceived numerous times throughout this process. 90% of Highland Homes employees would recommend working there to a friend based on Glassdoor reviews. Employees also rated Highland Homes 4.3 out of 5 for work life balance, 4.5 for culture and values and 4.1 for career opportunities. Highland Homes has an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5, based on over 111 reviews left anonymously by employees.

They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would definitely recommend Highland Homes, but especially this particular team. Despite going through this process from another state, his weekly updates and supper responsive for all of our questions have made this process very smooth and seamless.

It is your responsibility to independently verify the information on the site. Came on late in the building process and has been working with us on follow-up items mostly. He also has answered many questions in and out of the house and has been easy to communicate with on some outstanding issues. We look forward to continuing to work with him on those. I’m currently in the process of getting my new construction home build with Highland Homes. I chose to go with a new built in order to have reassurance and a sense of ease without worries that come with an already built & lived in home.
Highland provides the highest quality homes and service from start to finish. They went above and beyond my expectations and truly commit to customer satisfaction. We get a call later that day saying Highlands has a problem with our Deed of Trust with our lender... This document has nothing to do with Highland homes, so our lender is not willing to change that document. We had asked Highland homes before ever starting the application with our lender, to make sure they will work with our lender and to avoid any future issues.
It's also amazing that I'm writing this review - I don't write reviews, but I'm happy to write one for these folks. I'm sure they know who's writing this too ;) hi y'all, thanks for everything and hope this review gets y'all some recognition. I'm putting anonymous b/c I want them to think about who's writing this haha. Debbie and Joy was very informative and helpful throughout the process of the buying of my house. My project managers Travis and Blake communicate effectively with the entire process, and very thorough at my walk through before I closed.
